Are VERTEX mannequins made from recycled material?
Yes. VERTEX offers mannequin solutions made with recycled materials, including recycled polypropylene (rPP) and recycled ABS (rABS). The choice of material depends on the mannequin design, required surface finish, production technology and project specifications. Recycled content varies by product and can be confirmed for individual projects. Our in-house development and manufacturing capabilities allow us to evaluate recycled material options without compromising the required functionality, durability or design.
Are VERTEX mannequins recyclable?
VERTEX offers mannequin solutions made from recyclable materials, including polypropylene (PP). Actual recyclability depends on the material composition, coatings, fittings and available recycling infrastructure. Not every mannequin or component is automatically recyclable. For custom projects, we can evaluate material selection and construction methods with end-of-life recycling in mind.
What is the difference between recycled and recyclable mannequins?
A mannequin made from recycled material contains raw materials recovered from previous products or manufacturing processes. A recyclable mannequin is made from materials that can potentially be collected and processed into new materials after use, provided suitable recycling processes and infrastructure are available. The distinction is important: a mannequin can contain recycled material without being fully recyclable, while a recyclable mannequin does not necessarily contain recycled material. VERTEX considers both recycled content and end-of-life options when developing suitable mannequin solutions.

Yes. VERTEX can provide third-party Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data for all materials used in our manufacturing processes. These assessments provide environmental impact information to support material comparisons, informed procurement decisions and sustainability reporting. Material-specific documentation and traceability requirements can also be addressed according to individual project specifications. Can old mannequins be recycled or taken back?
Recycling options for used mannequins depend on their material composition, condition and the recycling infrastructure available at the relevant location. VERTEX can evaluate suitable end-of-life solutions for individual projects, including material separation and potential recycling options. Take-back arrangements are not automatically included and must be discussed and agreed upon individually.
